Start anticipating your Indian adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day to bring.
Day 1 - 2: Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai International Airport, you will be met by a member of the &Beyond India tea and chauffeured to The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, where you will spend the next two nights.
The following day, you will be taken on a guided tour of Mumbai, including the Victoria Terminus, with its mass of buttresses, domes, turrets, spires and stained glass windows, as well as the Gothic masterpiece of the city university, and a visit to the Prince of Wales Museum.
Day 3 - 5: Kanha National Park
This morning you will catch a flight to Nagpur. On arrival, a driver will be waiting to take you on a 5 hour road trip to Kanha National Park.
One of India's largest parks, Kanha was also one of the first tiger
reserves established through Project Tiger. The central parklands are
home to more than 20 animal species and Kanha also supports a thriving
population of the highly endangered hardground barasingha, or swamp
deer.
Relax for three nights in an elegant tented suite at &Beyond Banjaar Tola Kanha Tented Camp. Explore the park and discover its wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives conducted in open 4x4 safari vehicles in the company of expert naturalists.
Day 6 - 7: Delhi
This afternoon you will return to Nagpur by road and will board a flight to Delhi. On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport you will be driven to your hotel.
Spend two nights in a deluxe room at The Taj Mahal Hotel. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
The following morning you will be taken on a rickshaw ride through the historical Chandni Chowk, one of India's grandest markets. Visit the immense mosque of the Jama Masjid and enjoy lunch before being driven through the heart of Imperial Delhi, passing Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate and the Old Secretariat to visit the Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret, and the lovely garden tomb known as Humayun's Tomb.
Day 8: Agra
A member of the &Beyond team will drive you to the railway station to board an air conditioned train to Agra. On arrival, you will be taken to your hotel.
Spend the night in a premier room at the Oberoi Amarvilas. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Visit the imposing Agra Fort before exploring the magnificent Taj Mahal in the late afternoon, when the light is perfect for photography.
Day 9: Departure
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking sight of the Taj Mahal by sunrise before embarking on a road journey back to Delhi (approximately 5 hours). On arrival, you will have the use of a room at the Trident Gurgaon to relax and refresh yourself. Later in the evening a member of the &Beyond team will drive you to Indira Gandhi International Airport, where your adventure with us will end.
