This adventure begins and ends at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
Day 1 - 2: Delhi
On arrival at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport you will
be warmly welcomed by your &Beyond India host, who will drive you
to your hotel
Spend two nights in a deluxe ensuite room at The Taj Mahal Hotel.
Use the remainder of the day to unpack, settle in and relax, perhaps with an ayurvedic massage. The following morning, you will be taken on a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, once the grandest of all the markets in India. In Chandni Chowk, you will visit the beautiful and historic Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, built in 1656. Enjoy a delicious lunch before being driven through Delhi's former colonial splendour, passing the magnificent president's house, known as the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the World War I memorial of the India Gate and the Old Secretariat building. Visit the beautiful buildings of the Qutub Minar tower, once used as a minaret, and the World Heritage Site of Humayun’s Tomb, India's first garden-tomb.
That evening you will board the overnight train to Corbett National Park.
Day 3 - 5: Corbett National Park
Situated in the picturesque foothills of the Himalayas, Corbett National Park is India's oldest wildlife sanctuary. It is named after Jim Corbett, the famed hunter, conservationist and photographer.
Relax for three nights at Infinity Corbett Wilderness, located on the fringes of the park. Enjoy a selection of morning and evening game drives into the park.
Day 6 - 8: Kalmatia
An air-conditioned three-hour drive will take you to Kalmatia.
Set at the foot of the rugged Himalayas, the resort of Kalmatia clings to the sides of a steep mountain valley.
Indulge in three nights at Kalmatia Sangam Himalayan Resort. Hike through terraced fields, villages and magnificent cedar forests, and explore local life, filled with old traditions and culture.
Day 9: Delhi
A three-hour chauffeured drive will take you back to Kathgodam, where you will board the overnight train to Delhi.
Day 10 - 11: Agra
Today you will catch the afternoon flight from Delhi to Agra, where you will be checked into your hotel.
Spend three nights at The Oberoi Amarvilas, just meters from the magnificent Taj Mahal. In the late afternoon, when the light is ideal for photography, you will visit this famous monument to love. The following morning you will have the opportunity to view the rosy light of dawn tint the Taj Mahal a warm pink. After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing excursion that will take you from the magnificent Agra Fort to the delicate beauty of the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj.
Day 12: Departure
This morning you will leave on the five-hour road trip to Delhi. You will be taken to the Indira Ghandhi International Airport, where your adventure with us will end.
