This adventure begins in Delhi and ends in Mumbai.

Day 1: Delhi

On arrival at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by your &Beyond India host, who will drive you to your hotel

Spend two nights in a Heritage ensuite room at The Imperial, with its rich historical past.

Use the remainder of the day to unpack, settle in and relax, perhaps with an ayurvedic massage.

Day 2: Delhi

After a scrumptious breakfast, you will be taken on a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, once the grandest of all the markets in India. In Chandni Chowk, you will visit the beautiful and historic Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, built in 1656. Enjoy a delicious lunch before being driven through Delhi's former colonial splendour, passing the magnificent president's house, known as theRashtrapati Bhavan, the World War I memorial of the India Gate and the Old Secretariat building. Visit the beautiful buildings of the Qutub Minar tower, once used as a minaret, and the World Heritage Site of Humayun’s Tomb, India's first garden-tomb.

Day 3: Agra

Embark on an unforgettable train journey as your &Beyond host escorts you to the train station and helps you to seat on board the Shatabdi train to Agra.

On arrival, you will be driven to The Oberoi Amarvilas, just metres away from the renowned Taj Mahal.

Once you have settled in, embark on a sightseeing excursion that will take you from the delicate beauty of the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj, to the magnificent Agra Fort, once the primary site of government for the mighty Mughal Empire. In the late afternoon, when the light is perfect for photography, you will visit the legendary Taj Mahal.

Day 4: Jaipur

Watch the sunrise cast a warm pink glow over the white marble of the Taj Mahal from your hotel room before setting off on a six-hour drive through the Indian countryside to Jaipur. You will break your journey for a tour of the 16th century abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri.

On arrival in Jaipur, check into the Rambagh Palace for two nights, the former home of generations of Indian royalty.

Day 5: Jaipur

In the morning visit the stunning Amber Fort, built in white marble and red sandstone, followed by lunch at Dera-Amber. In the afternoon you will explore the City Palace, residence to the maharajahs, the Observatory Tower and the distinctive Hawa Mahal, built in the 18th century to allow the ladies of the royal household to observe the goings-on in the city. In the evening, indulge in some shopping in Jaipur's bustling markets.

Day 6: Delhi

After a leisurely morning, you will have an opportunity to admire the Indian countryside on a five-hour chauffeured drive back to Delhi.

Spend the night at The Trident Gurgaon Hotel.

Day 7 - 9: Bandhavgarh National Park

Catch a morning flight to Jabalpur, where an air-conditioned vehicle will be waiting to take you on the five-hour drive to Bandhavgarh National Park.

Cradled among picturesque hill ranges, the renowned tiger reserve of Bandhavgarh is one of India's most beautiful national park. The dramatic landscape, with its tropical forests, woodlands, steep rocky hills and grassy valleys, is home to one of highest densities of tiger in India.   

Relax for three nights in a charming suite at &Beyond Mahua Kothi Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge, set on gracious 16 hectare (40 acre) grounds. Venture out in search of adventure on morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, accompanied by trained naturalists.

Day 10 - 12: Kanha National Park

This morning you leave on the six-hour drive to Kanha National Park.

One of India's largest parks, Kanha was also one of the first tiger reserves established through Project Tiger. The central parklands are home to more than 20 animal species and Kanha also supports a thriving population of the highly endangered hardground barasingha, or swamp deer.

Relax for three nights in an elegant tented suite at &Beyond Banjaar Tola Kanha Tented Camp. Explore the park and discover its wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives conducted in open 4x4 safari vehicles in the company of expert naturalists.

Day 13: Mumbai

After your morning game drive, you will be driven to Nagpur, where you will board a flight back to Mumbai. Spend the night at The Oberoi Mumbai, with an opportunity to freshen up and pack for your journey home.

Day 14: Departure

You will be driven to the airport, where your adventure with us will end.
