Start anticipating your Indian adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day to bring.
This adventure begins and ends in Delhi.
Day 1 -2: Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will be warmly welcomed by your &Beyond India host and chauffeured to your hotel. Spend two nights at The Imperial. On the second day, you will be escorted on a grand tour of the mosques, monuments, temples, bazaars and ancient forts of Delhi.
Day 3 - 6: Bandhavgarh National Park
A scheduled flight will take you to Jabalpur, where an air-conditioned vehicle will be waiting to take you on the four-hour drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. Spend four nights at &Beyond Mahua Kothi Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge, discovering India's extraordinary wildlife on twice daily jungle drives with trained naturalists.
Day 7 - 9: Kanha National Park
Delight in a sumptuous lodge breakfast before embark on a six-hour drive through the Indian countryside to Kanha National Park. A tented suite at &Beyond Banjaar Tola Kanha Tented Camp will be your home for the next three nights as you enjoy twice daily game drives in the park.
Day 10 - 11: Pench National Park
Your adventure continues with yet another road trip to Pench National Park, named after the Pench River. You will spend two nights in a stylish bungalow suite at &Beyond Baghvan Pench Jungle Lodge, tracking the elusive tiger on twice daily game drives.
Day 12 - 15: Gir National Park
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport to catch a flight to Mumbai and onwards to the laid-back island town of Diu. A scenic drive will take you to Gir National Park, a sanctuary originally established to protect the Asiatic lion. Four nights will be spent in The Gateway Hotel with scenic views of the surrounding forest and Hiran River.
Day 16: Mumbai
This afternoon you will be driven to the city of Diu, where you will board a flight to Mumbai. On arrival, you will be welcomed by your &Beyond India host, who will drive you to the Trident Bandra Kurla, where you will spend the night.
Day 17 - 20: Kaziranga National Park
Fly to Guwahati, from where a comfortable five-hour drive will take you to Kaziranga National Park, home to one-horned rhino and Asiatic water buffalo. Spend four nights at Diphlu River Lodge.
Day 21: Delhi
After breakfast, you will be chauffeured to Guwahati, where you will catch a flight to the capital city of Delhi, where you will spend the nights at The Imperial.
Day 22 - 23: Agra
Your &Beyond host will settle you safely on board an air-conditioned early express train to Agra. On arrival, your guide will take you straight to the Agra Fort, before checking in to your hotel. In the late afternoon, when the light is ideal for photography, you will explore the famous Taj Mahal. You will spend the night at The Oberoi Amarvilas, offering breathtaking views of the monument.
Day 23: Delhi
This morning you will get another opportunity to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, returning to your hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon, you will board a flight to Delhi, where you will be met by a member of the &Beyond India team. Enjoy the use of a day room at the Trigent Gurgaon before being chauffeured to the International Airport for your flight home.
