Guests flying in from Mumbai arrive in Nagpur, a distance of 290 km (180 miles) from Banjaar Tola. There are regular flights between Mumbai / Delhi / Kolkata into Nagpur Airport and one daily flight from Delhi to Jabalpur. A chartered flight from Nagpur to Birwa, which is a mere 20 minute drive from the camp can also be arranged.
Transfers
Due to road conditions, driving times in India tend to be long, in spite of the relatively short distance covered. Guests arriving in Jabalpur or Nagpur are collected by a chauffeur-driven, air conditioned vehicle. The drive from Jabalpur to Banjaar Tola takes approximately five hours, with the last hour and a half being a game drive through the park. The trip from Nagpur to Banjaar Tola is five and a half hours long, while guests who arrive at Birwa by chartered flight have a 20 minute drive to the camp.
