Pashan Garh
Overview

The dramatic slate roofs of Pashan Garh Panna Wilderness Lodge rise out of private jungle just 12 km (seven miles) from the entrance to Panna National Park.
Inspired by the dry-packed stone architecture of the region, Pashan Garh is stony and rough hewn, with white marble and leather furniture to soften its stark lines.
A spacious central courtyard celebrates local Haveli design, with its sense of sanctuary and coolness.
The dramatic lines of the lodge create a theatre of jungle discovery and adventure, with constant reminders of the wilderness outside, like the massive black and white nature photo canvases that decorate the walls or the crocodile motifs that echo the inhabitants of the Ken River nearby.

Private jungle wilderness
Set in the midst of 190 acres (75 hectares) of private jungle wilderness, 12 chic stone suites lines the banks of a small stream. Emerging from the forest, the stone buildings blend into a rocky outcrop with views of the Vindhya Hills. Approaching the lodge on a winding path through the trees, you feel like an intrepid explorer travelling through jungle in search of a forgotten temple. A conical tower rises majestically through the trees and broad steps lead up towards your discovery.
A summer pavillion
Follow large stone flagstones to your private and intimate suite, which welcomes you with a soft, glowing light as you approach the entrance. Dry packed stone walls and clean lines create the impression of a summer pavillion. In the bathroom, a dramatic central shower invites you to your morning ritual. In the heat of the day, comfortable day beds on private stone verandas capture the jungle breeze. The simplicity of stone and a structure that is light and airy mingles with accents of ebony, chocolate and white.
Giant banyan trees
Guest areas centre around a courtyard set amongst giant banyan trees. Take in the views from guest decks that flow between the simple spaces of the dining and guest areas, with their stone walls and exposed roof rafters. Climb the circular stair to the lookout tower, in the day to gaze at the watering hole below and at night to marvel at the starry skies above. Take a cooling dip in an infinity pool nestled between rocky outcrops or investigate the aromas flowing from the bustling, interactive kitchen.
