At Baghvan Pench Jungle Lodge, the days are designed to thrill you with unexpected jungle encounters, and the fragrant Indian nights to delight and indulge your senses.
- Morning Game Drive - Your personal wake-up call will deliver fresh fruit juice, tea and coffee to your bungalow before your morning game drive. Enjoy a morning full of adventure in Pench National Park, which could include catching sight of a tiger from the back of an elephant.
- Breakfast - Breakfast takes place on the veranda, with platters heaped with traditional Indian fare or the more familiar eggs cooked to your preference. Try Indian delicacies like kathi rolls stuffed with chicken, lamb or vegetable, or homemade pancakes with potato, paneer and cauliflower called paranthas.
- Lunch - Take a dip in the swimming pool or find out more about India in our well stocked library before lunch, served on the veranda or by the poolside.
- Afternoon Tea - Indulge in an Ayurvedic massage in your room or relax in the open rooftop machan, watching the abundant birdlife in the nearby trees. The interactive kitchen, where guests can try their hand at traditional Indian recipes, is the setting for afternoon tea.
- Afternoon Game Drive - Enter the teak jungles of Pench once again on your afternoon game drive. Look out for gaur, sambal and chital coming down to drink at the many jungle streams. Tiger and leopard are getting ready for the hunt, and you may be lucky enough to spot one of these beautiful predators. Pause to watch the sun setting over the jungle and enjoy a refreshing sundowner cocktail.
- Dinner - Back at the lodge dinner will be waiting in the kitchen or veranda, or even in a surprise jungle setting. Delicious Indian dishes, from the popular chicken tikka to unusual stuffed lamb are served with fresh naan bread, chutney and pickles. After dinner, the only decision you need to take is whether you prefer to drift off to sleep inside your bungalow or on the open rooftop machan.
